Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Developer with deep expertise in Core Java, aviation standards, and system integrations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in requirements analysis, technical documentation, system integration, and ensuring compliance with IATA frameworks such as ONE Record, ONE Order, and NDC.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis
• Elicit, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories or functional specifications.
• Documentation & Diagrams
• Create clear process flows (UML), data maps, and comprehensive technical documentation.
• System Integrations
• Support API design, data exchange mechanisms, and integration with third-party systems.
• IATA Standards
• Advocate for and ensure alignment with aviation frameworks (ONE Record, ONE Order, NDC).
• Testing & QA
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Manage defects and testing progress in Jira.
• Collaboration
• Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions.
• Aviation Knowledge
• Apply expertise in Day-of-Travel functionalities, airline reservations, and IATA standards to solution delivery.

Essential Skills & Competencies

• Technical Skills:
• Core Java expertise.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, SOAPUI).
• Domain Knowledge:
• Familiarity with aviation frameworks: ONE Record, ONE Order, and NDC.
• Experience with Day-of-Travel functionalities and airline reservations.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent documentation and presentation capabilities.
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively across diverse teams.
