If you are a strategic creative with a love for board sports, we are offering you the opportunity to join the creative team at our Amsterdam HQ.


In a nutshell 

The graphic designer at Bataleon Snowboards will be shaping the visual narrative across product graphics, seasonal campaigns, and our digital platforms. You'll collaborate across disciplines, working closely together with the Product- and Marketing Director, to ensure our visuals are not only beautiful but also evocative, production-ready, and on-brand.


Key responsibilities

  • Graphic development for products such as bindings, boots, boards, outerwear, softgoods.
  • Deliver collection-level visual direction, turning concept into production-ready artwork with attention to trims, print, materiality, and cost considerations 
  • Create visuals for campaign collateral: catalogues, packaging, social media, digital ads, e-commerce assets. 
  • Ensure consistency across digital while pushing creative boundaries aligned with brand tone and objectives.
  • Present ideas to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, aligning design execution with strategic brand and business objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and art direction to freelancers or junior team members.
  • Prepare detailed, production-ready files, leveraging knowledge of printing, digital specs, and execution workflows
  • Collaborate with development teams and suppliers to ensure feasible and high-quality deliverables
  • Staying ahead of visual trends, cultural shifts, materials, and surfacing techniques, infusing freshness and relevance into each collection.


About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent, 4-5+ years of in-house or agency experience in lifestyle, sports, or cultural consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, and a good feel for photography
  • Self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, comfortable to lead and to follow 
  • Proven ability to tell stories through design, balancing creativity with strategic brand alignment
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication, adept at presenting concepts to diverse audiences
  • Self-motivated, organised, able to manage multiple projects
  • Passion for snowboarding (or other boardsports), outdoor lifestyle, or action sports; cultural authenticity is key
  • Your design portfolio showcases narrative-driven product graphics and integrated marketing work
  • For the role you will be based at our HQ office in Amsterdam, so you should already have a working permit/visa for Europe
