Our growing company, Comtrade System Integration, is currently seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our Data Center Team in Ljubljana.

Job Description:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Data Center infrastructure solutions
• Strategic planning and development of clients infrastructure, including performance and capacity optimization
• Active participation in presales activities related to data center technology
• Administration and management of storage environments such as DellEMC Unity/PowerStore, IBM FlashSystem, Fujitsu Ethernus, NetApp, Huawei OceanStor
• Expertise in working with SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) systems
• Implementation and maintenance of VMware vSphere environments, including integration with storage systems
• Implementation of backup and disaster recovery solutions,
• Providing technical support to clients, including resolving complex issues in production environments
• Creating detailed technical documentation for projects, configurations, and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Data Center technology-related positions
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in system administration
• Deep understanding of storage, SAN, and server infrastructure, including protocols such as Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and FCoE
• Experience with some of the following storage systems: DellEMC Unity/PowerStore, IBM FlashSystem, Fujistu Ethernus, NetApp, Huawei OceanStor
• Experience in configuring and maintaining VMware ESXi environments and integrating with SAN storage
• Knowledge of backup and DR solutions
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities in dynamic environments
• Professional approach to implementing business solutions and adhering to SLA requirements
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various levels of the organization
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Valid B-category driver’s license
