Position

For our customer, leader banking group in Ticino, we are looking for a highly motivated DevOps/System Engineer to join our IT team. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing and managing robust observability solutions and automation frameworks. The role requires strong technical knowledge in monitoring, automation and system reliability to ensure performance, scalability and availability across complex infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Unix/Linux systems in complex and mission-critical environments;
• Design and implement automated, scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible;
• Support CI/CD processes and container-based development (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes);
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability and security.

Required skills

• Solid experience as a System Engineer in Unix/Linux environments;
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools;
• Strong skills in infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible);
• Team player with excellent communication skills;
• Native level of Italian, good command of the English language.

Availability to work on-site in Ticino on a weekly basis is strictly required.

Nice to have

• Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python);
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
