Director of Logistics

Overview

We are seeking a visionary Logistics Director to lead and optimize our global supply chain operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring our fashion collections move seamlessly from concept to consumer, balancing speed, cost-efficiency, and sustainability. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in logistics, a passion for fashion, and a strategic mindset to elevate our brand’s operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with seasonal fashion cycles and global market demands.
• End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and last-mile delivery.
• Vendor & Partner Relations: Manage relationships with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and distribution partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Technology & Innovation: Implement logistics technologies (e.g., WMS, TMS) to streamline operations and enhance visibility.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Drive eco-friendly logistics practices, including carbon footprint reduction and sustainable packaging.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing logistics team across multiple regions.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor logistics budgets, negotiate contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs compliance, and mitigate supply chain risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of logistics experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role within the fashion or retail industry.
• Proven success in managing global supply chains and seasonal product flows.
• Strong understanding of fashion retail dynamics, including e-commerce, wholesale, and omni-channel distribution.
• Expertise in logistics software and data analytics.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
