Our stack

Our frontend tech stack includes React, Apollo GraphQL, Styled Components/CSS, and Next.js. On the backend, we use mostly Ruby and some Node.js, and the most common pattern for us is to store data in PostgreSQL.

While this is a frontend-focused role, we see it as a strong advantage if you are open to working with backend technologies and frameworks, including Ruby and GraphQL, to contribute to full-stack solutions. We are used to teaching Ruby to our new developers, so prior experience is not required. We use standard tools for collaboration and development, such as GitHub, Jira, Slack, and G-Suite.

What will you do?

• Develop and maintain frontend solutions using React, Apollo GraphQL, and Styled Components. This includes maintaining and developing our design system, as well as feature building.
• Collaborate closely with other developers, designers and product leads as part of a cross-functional team.
• Mentor other developers and share knowledge on modern frontend practices.
• Contribute to backend development when needed, including designing GraphQL schemas and implementing resolvers in Ruby

Who are you?

• You are an experienced frontend developer with at least 5 years of professional experience and have a strong background in React.
• You have an interest in working with backend technologies such as Ruby or Node.js.
• You take pride in your work and know how to balance quality with timely delivery.
• You thrive in an agile environment and enjoy taking responsibility for technical design, implementation, and maintenance.
• You actively participate in discussions, discoveries, and planning processes.
• You have a passion for product development and enjoy seeing your solutions deployed to production.
• You communicate fluently in English and have strong language skills in Swedish or Norwegian.
