Embedded Developer

The Embedded Developer will design, develop, and maintain firmware and embedded software for PoS devices, including ECRs, EFT-POS terminals, Pinpads, SoftPOS, and EMV Kernel solutions. They will collaborate with hardware and cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, security, and reliability across all payment products.

Client Details

Our client is seeking an Embedded Developer to take ownership of embedded software development across a range of payment devices. The product scope includes NG ECR, EFT-POS, Pinpad, SoftPOS, and EMV Kernel solutions, focusing on firmware, device ıntegration, and performance optimization.

Description

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for PoS devices and related hardware platforms.
• Implement and maintain EMV kernel and payment protocols.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to ıntegrate software with ECRs, EFT-POS terminals, Pinpads, and SoftPOS solutions.
• Optimize firmware for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of embedded systems.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices and industry standards.
• Contribute to technical documentation and specifications.

Profile

• A degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in embedded programming languages such as C or C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and low-level hardware interactions.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and hardware testing equipment.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attentıon to detail.
• An interest in working within the technology industry to create innovative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EMV, PCI, or other payment security standards.

• Familiarity with SoftPOS or mobile payment solutions.

• Knowledge of Linux embedded development.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control tools
