Role

As an Android Developer at HaloScape, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of innovative, user-centered mobile applications. You will actively contribute to the entire product lifecycle, closely follow the latest Android technologies, and create scalable solutions that enhance both performance and user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Develop clean, optimized, and maintainable Android applications using Kotlin
• Perform data integration with Firebase, Google, and other API sources
• Monitor application performance and conduct tests to enhance user experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement project requirements
• Research and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies

What You’ll Bring

• BA/BSc degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Kotlin programming and Android SDK
• Proficiency with Android Studio and mastery of fundamental Android concepts
• Experience with Firebase products such as Realtime Database and Cloud Firestore
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and Web Services
• Experience with Git version control and sharing projects on GitHub
• Strong skills in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable code
• Knowledge of Gradle, AAR, XML, Kotlin Coroutines, DataBinding/ViewBinding, Firebase Services
• Familiarity with Google Mobile Services (GMS) and Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) is preferred
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database management
• UI & Unit Testing experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Passion for learning and drive to see projects through to completion
