Artificial Intelligence (AI) Specialist

We are seeking a AI Specialist for our company operating in the oil and gas sector.

Location: İstanbul- Ankara

Role

You will design and implement end-to-end AI solutions. This includes leveraging classical machine learning (ML), deep learning, and time series-based architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and design experiments. Additionally, you will build predictive models and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python, and enthusiasm for learning new languages when needed
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or AI engineering
• Proficiency in Python and ML/AI libraries (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain)
• Strong understanding of the ML model lifecycle, API-based architectures, and cloud-native deployment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly
• Experience with software implementation
• Strong background in mathematical modeling, operations research, and statistical approaches
• Strong background in time series models

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI solutions using machine learning (ML), deep learning, and time series architectures
• Build solutions with generative AI (GenAI) tools such as OpenAI, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, and vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS)
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI-driven systems and MVPs (Minimum Viable Products)
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and software developers
• Stay up-to-date with emerging AI trends and apply them to drive innovation
