Game Economy Designer (Unannounced Shooter Game)

The successful applicant will be able to work at our Lviv office, Kyiv office, Warsaw office or remotely in Poland or Ukraine.

We are working on an unannounced, multi-platform third-person shooter in a realistic setting with innovative gameplay. The project is large-scale and ambitious both from a graphics and game design point of view and from the technical perspective.


We are looking for an experienced Game Designer to join the Game Design Department as a member of the team responsible for developing and maintaining game economy and game balance.


Responsibilities

  • Developing balance for in-game items (price/rarity/quantity), and the general flow of resources in the game
  • Creating loot tables
  • Calculating game progression for features
  • Planning analytical events and creating dashboards to evaluate feature performance
  • Working with the Level Design team to place loot boxes on game maps
  • Analyzing current version balance performance and implementing adjustments based on analytics


What we expect

  • At least 2 years of work experience as a Game Designer / Game Economy Designer
  • Knowledge of Google Sheets including LOOKUP functions and auto-updating linked formulas
  • Firm knowledge of probability theory
  • Understanding of the core principles of statistics
  • Understanding the core principles of game economy design and resource flow design
  • English language skills at the Intermediate level or higher


Desired

  • Experience working with Unity and version control systems
  • Experience writing scripts for Google Sheets
  • Experience in deconstructing game economies or game features
  • Experience working with game analytics
