Spense is scaling quickly, and we are now looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our team in Oslo.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Work with infrastructure and databases to ensure performance and reliability.
• Contribute across the stack (Python/Typescript, MongoDB, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate closely with partners (e.g., financial institutions, dealership management system companies).
• Interact directly with customers and end-users to make your work more effective and impactful.
• Work in an agile team that values ownership, trust, and collaboration.

What we're looking for

Tech requirements

• 3-8+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong backend expertise.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure and databases.
• Proven track record in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

Soft skills

• A startup mindset: adaptable, resourceful, and proactive.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech.
• Previous work in a startup environment.
• DevOps experience.
