Our client is building the next-generation travel platform - bridging corporate efficiency with consumer-grade experience. With a dual product focus (Enterprise for B2B and Travel App for B2C), they help users discover, plan, and book travel like never before - personalized, intelligent and joyful.
Their teams work across Dubai, Europe, and internationally. They combine creativity, velocity, and strong execution standards - and were looking for a Technical Project Manager who can help to scale the delivery engine.
About the Role

Reports to: VP R&D / VP Product
As the Technical Project Manager, you will be the operational driver behind cross-functional execution. You'll lead sprint rituals, own Jira workflows, manage dependencies, align stakeholders, and ensure everyone - from engineers to designers to leadership - is on the same page.
This role is perfect for someone who loves structure, lives in Jira, and thrives on cross-team coordination in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You'll Do
Sprint Planning & Execution
- Lead sprint rituals: planning, standups, reviews, retros, summaries
- Ensure every sprint has decomposed, estimated, and well-defined stories
- Prepare and distribute sprint summaries with metrics, blockers, and feedback
- Track team velocity and delivery quality across squads
Backlog & Grooming Ownership
- Own Jira projects for multiple teams (App, Enterprise, Innovation)
- Lead grooming sessions and maintain backlog hygiene
- Enforce decomposition standards (data, domain, UI, integration layers)
- Maintain automations, dashboards, and traceability between stories, epics, and releases
Cross-Team & Project Coordination
- Coordinate work across backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and design
- Manage dependencies between the mobile app, enterprise platform and Innovation tracks
- Track progress on key features (e.g., itinerary sharing, hotel booking engine, notification system)
Meeting & Stakeholder Management
- Set, prepare, and lead team syncs, reviews, and leadership updates
- Ensure all action items are documented, assigned, and followed up
- Serve as the bridge between product, engineering, design, QA, and leadership
Release & Risk Management
- Plan, track, and coordinate releases across web and mobile
- Ensure QA readiness, deployment success, and rollback plans
- Maintain risk registers and escalate critical issues early
Metrics & Reporting
- Track and improve sprint KPIs: delivery rate, spillover, blocker resolution
- Provide reporting and insights to leadership on delivery health
- Monitor tech debt ratio and ensure balance in sprint planning
Documentation & Coaching
- Maintain Confluence structure, sprint templates, and grooming docs
- Coach teams on agile delivery, Jira usage, and delivery consistency
- Facilitate team improvement and knowledge-sharing rituals
What You'll Need
- 3-5 years in a technical/agile project management role, ideally in startups or product-led orgs
- Strong command of Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
- Experience working with multi-squad environments across mobile, web, and backend
- Technical background or fluency in engineering workflows (bonus if you've been a developer or studied CS.
Bonus Points
- Experience with mobile development cycles (iOS/Android)
- Familiarity with travel tech, booking flows, or B2B SaaS
- Fluent in Jira automation and JQL
- Worked with distributed teams and complex cross-team dependencies.
- Prior work experience in an online travel company or similar in the travelling industry.
