Senior Java Developer

K&K Social Resources & Development GmbH is an international recruiting agency that has been providing technical resources in the European region since 1993. This position is with one of our clients in Norway who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams.

Role – Senior Java Developer

Location – Oslo, Norway

Employment Type- Full-time Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Hands on Development, configuration, testing and deployment of the overall solution activities in the capacity of an individual contributor using Java and related technology stack.
• Requirements Elicitation, Architecture recommendation, Detailed Design, work on enhancements/customization of existing applications and guiding the team to ensure DevOps and automation practices are implemented as per needs.
• Guiding the distributed agile teams on project process, deliverables.
• Contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope.

Required Skills:

• Strong development experience in Java.
• Design and architect end-to-end solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Strong experience in developing REST APIs.
• Experience with IBM Websphere .
• Good experience in Oracle, NOSQL databases.
• Good experience in cloud development/Platforms Azure/GCP.
• Good understanding of Scrum.
• Experience conducting code reviews.
• Ability to ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications.
• Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong Communication skill in both verbal and written (Norwegian as well as English).
• Knowledge of common tools for DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environment, Configuration management / automation tools, Build / release utilities, continuous integration and automated deployments (Git, Jenkins, TeamCity), Logging / monitoring tools to ensure SLA .

Preferred:

• Experienced in working in DevOps/Scrum.
• Self motivated person with strong analytical and articulation skills.
• AZ-900 certification or OCJP is an advantage.
• Experience in Telecom Domain(OSS/BSS).
