Company Description

Bending X is an app holding company based in Dubai, producing applications and software. Bending X owns IPTVX, a product launched in 2019 that allows users to watch their digital content, including movies, TV shows, and live streams, across multiple devices. IPTVX supports multiple playlist formats such as SMB, M3U, M3U8, and Xtream API, but does not provide digital content itself. As of January 2023, IPTVX is owned by Bending X.

Role Description

This is a remote contract role for an Android Lead Engineer at Bending X. The Android Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Android applications, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the quality and performance of the apps. Daily tasks include coding, reviewing code, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• 8+ years of _real_ experience on Android systems
• Kotlin master
• Deep understanding of fundamentals
• Memory management
• Algorithms and time complexity
• Data structure and space complexity
• Think outside the box
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating with backend services
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Leadership and mentoring abilities
• Experience with app deployment and distribution processes
• Ability to work independently and remotely

+ 10 points if:

- You worked on Android/Google TV;

- You know players and streaming.
