DevOps Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Manager to oversee and scale our development and operations infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure and reliable deployments, and managing infrastructure across diverse technology stacks (NodeJS, Java Spring Boot, .NET, and more). This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and leadership to guide a growing DevOps function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow the DevOps team, establishing best practices and standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for NodeJS, React/NextJS/NestJS, React Native, WordPress/PHP, and Java Spring Boot projects.
• Manage deployments for occasional .NET/Umbraco solutions.
• Administer and optimize databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Oversee messaging and streaming platforms: RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Administer Linux-based servers, ensuring secure, stable, and optimized environments.
• Handle SSH access, keys, and secure communication protocols.
• Monitor system health, application performance, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
• Manage build servers and CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with developers across Java + NodeJS ecosystems to ensure smooth integration of development and operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in DevOps leadership or management roles.
• Strong background in Linux system administration and SSH.
• Hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) and NodeJS-based applications.
• Strong understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• CI/CD expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with Umbraco (.NET) and MSSQL.
• Experience with TeamCity build automation.
