Position Summary:

The Director – Information & Technology will lead the organization’s overall technology vision, strategy, and execution. This role is responsible for ensuring that IT systems, infrastructure, and applications are aligned with business goals, secure, and scalable. The Director will oversee IT operations, digital transformation initiatives, data security, and technology-driven business solutions to support growth, efficiency, and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance business performance and customer experience.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.


IT Operations & Infrastructure:

  • Oversee the management of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place and effective.
  • Optimize IT operations for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.


Information Security & Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce IT security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO, NIST).
  • Protect the organization from cyber threats through proactive risk management.


Application & Data Management:

  • Lead the implementation, integration, and maintenance of enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, BI tools).
  • Drive data governance, analytics, and reporting for informed decision-making.
  • Promote automation and digital solutions to streamline business processes.


Team Leadership & Vendor Management:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team.
  • Manage external vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure quality delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT function.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 15–20 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise IT infrastructure, digital transformation, and information security.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, ERP/CRM systems, and data management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CISM are an advantage.
