Job Overview:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, building, and nurturing strategic partnerships and promotional channels to drive Meta Earth’s expansion in the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem. This role involves conducting market and industry research, analysing stakeholder needs, and developing tailored outreach strategies to engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), communities, and institutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the blockchain landscape, be highly proactive in outreach and negotiation, and work cross-functionally to ensure successful partner onboarding and campaign execution. The goal is to grow Meta Earth’s global reach, drive user acquisition, and increase brand awareness through sustainable and mutually beneficial collaborations.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Partnership Exploration

1.1. Conduct market research to evaluate the collaboration value of various KOLs and communities within the blockchain industry, as well as explore potential partnerships with them.


2. Stakeholder Needs & Strategy Development

2.1. Analyse the needs of KOLs, communities, institutions, and other stakeholders, along with industry developments, to develop targeted collaboration strategies.


3. Channel & Partner Acquisition

3.1. Develop and execute strategies to acquire new channels, promoters, and partners.


4. Lead Generation & Outreach

4.1. Generate and qualify potential promotional partners through networking, cold outreach, and industry events.


5. Proposal & Presentation Development

5.1. Create proposals and presentations to pitch Meta Earth’s collaboration and promotion plans to potential channels.


6. Relationship Management

6.1. Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders.


7. Negotiation & Agreement Execution

7.1. Negotiate and execute partnership agreements to drive business growth.


8. Partner Onboarding & Integration

8.1. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new partners.


9. Partnership Promotion & Global Expansion

9.1. Develop and execute partnership promotion plans to increase global user base and expand Meta Earth’s presence in global markets.


10. Cross-Functional Collaboration

10.1. Work closely with operations, marketing, and product teams to align business strategies with company goals.


11. Monitoring & Strategy Optimization

11.1. Monitor and evaluate business development initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize results.


12. Industry Representation & Networking

12.1. Represent Meta Earth at blockchain conferences, industry events, and networking functions.


13. Blockchain & Web3 Market Awareness

13.1. Stay up to date with the latest developments in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Web3 technologies.


14. Community Engagement & Brand Presence

14.1. Engage with relevant communities and forums to enhance Meta Earth’s brand presence


15. Performance Tracking & Analysis

15.1. Track and analyze key performance metrics related to business development activities


16. Reporting & Management Updates

16.1. Provide regular reports to management on progress, challenges, and opportunities


17. CRM & Data-Driven Management

17.1. Utilize CRM tools and other data-driven methods to manage business development activities efficiently.


Qualifications

• Education

o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

o A Master’s degree or specialization in blockchain technology, Web3, or fintech is a plus.


• Experience

o 3–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, preferably in the blockchain, crypto, or tech industry.

o Proven success in managing relationships, structuring deals, and executing partnership strategies on a global scale.


• Skills

o Familiarity with blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Web3 technologies and trends.

o Proficient in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analysis tools for performance tracking.

o Strong research and analytical skills to evaluate potential partners, industry shifts, and user behaviour.

o Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

o Strong relationship-building abilities, with experience interacting with KOLs, community leaders, and institutional partners.

o Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

o Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

o Willingness to travel for events, conferences, and partner meetings.
