About the Role We are seeking a Mobile Engineering Manager to lead our mobile team. You will manage engineers across iOS and Android. Your role is to ensure technical excellence, drive delivery, and create an environment where engineers can do their best work. You will play a critical role in shaping our mobile architecture, release processes, and performance standards — ensuring our apps are secure, reliable, and delightful for millions of users. Responsibilities Lead and grow a team of 6–10 engineers across iOS, Android, and backend. Drive technical execution for mobile both ios and android. Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and release automation with rollback safety. Champion app security best practices (secure storage, authentication flows, OWASP Mobile Security). Ensure deep observability through mobile analytics, crash reporting, and APM (startup time, ANRs, memory, battery usage). Partner with Product and Design to deliver high-quality features on schedule. Mentor engineers, support career growth, and foster a healthy team culture. Collaborate with other engineering leads to ensure consistency in architecture, tooling, and best practices. Requirements Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, leading teams of 6–10 engineers. Hands-on background in mobile development (iOS and/or Android) with familiarity across both ecosystems. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend services. Expertise in App Store / Play Store release processes and best practices. Experience with app performance monitoring tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, AppCenter, Datadog, New Relic, etc.). Strong understanding of mobile app performance metrics (startup time, ANRs, memory/battery profiling). Knowledge of app security fundamentals and best practices. Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have Experience with server-driven UI or GraphQL-based BFFs. Track record of optimizing developer productivity (build time, tooling, monorepos). Exposure to large-scale consumer apps with millions of users. Experience with backend-for-frontend (BFF) services, ideally using TypeScript/Node.js.
