About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and optimize large-scale AI systems that will be used by thousands of end-users. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on writing clean, efficient code and developing impactful products that scale. You’ll focus on advancing work with large language models (LLMs), creating tools and applications that push the boundaries of what AI can deliver to real-world users.

What You’ll Do

• Build High-Impact Systems: Design and implement machine learning solutions with a strong focus on production-level code quality and scalability.
• Advance LLM Applications: Work with large language models to create practical, user-facing applications and services.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to integrate ML solutions into consumer-facing platforms.
• Drive Innovation: Research, prototype, and productionize new approaches that improve performance, personalization, and usability.
• Optimize for Scale: Ensure systems are efficient, robust, and ready to support a growing user base.
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• 5–10 years of professional experience as a software or ML engineer.
• Strong coding skills in Python or similar languages, with a track record of writing maintainable, production-quality code.
• Hands-on experience with large language models, from experimentation through deployment.
• Background in designing and scaling machine learning applications for real-world use.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience building consumer-facing applications, ideally at scale.
• Exposure to gaming or interactive entertainment industries.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud platforms, or GPU-based training environments.
  
  

Compensation

• Salary Range: $165,000 – $190,000 CAD, depending on experience.
• Comprehensive benefits package, including health and retirement plans.
• Equity options may be available for qualified candidates.
  
  

Location

This position is fully remote, with no requirement to be onsite.
