Senior Project Manager (Core Banking Implementations)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager (SM or Director level) to lead and manage core banking implementation projects within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience, strong PMO capabilities, and the ability to provide technical advisory support on complex banking projects.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in project management, preferably in core banking implementations.
• Proven experience in a PMO or leadership role within the banking sector.
• Strong understanding of core banking systems (e.g., Temenos T24, Finacle, or similar).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to provide technical advisory and strategic guidance.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in complex environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of core banking implementation projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timelines, quality, and budget targets are met.
• Establish and maintain project governance, including risk and issue management.
• Provide technical guidance and advisory on banking systems and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and QA teams.
• Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and recommendations to senior management.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and project teams.
