Responsibilities:

Overview

The Field engineers will be the subject matter expert to assist on the administration and support of the network, end user support and system. The engineer will require to be equip with system administration knowledge, network routing knowledge and operation experience for setup of Cisco, Clearpass.

What we seek to accomplish together:

• Day to day operation of managing, administration of cisco switches and windows servers/laptop on customer site.
• Support operations such as production networks and servers in a hyper-scale and heterogeneous environment.
• Perform deep dives on complex technical issues across networks, ranging from automated tooling to hardware failures and network issues.
• Anticipate potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate/minimize.
• Participate and improve escalation and emergency response with detailed postmortem while addressing issues systematically to prevent future occurrences.
• Align with cross-functional relationships with Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Traffic, Logistics, Program Management, and OEM partners to deliver superb operational results and manage the performance of external vendors.
• Require to travel base on assignment by team lead or operation manager.

A little bit about you:

• ITE / Diploma in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in a System Integration environment and/or implementing Network systems is a plus
• Familiar and experienced in Servers and Cisco switches
• Certification in Network related products like CCNA will be a plus.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain technology from a customer perspective
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, team player and written skills.
• Positive working attitude and passionate in servicing customer
