Location: Lake Forest, IL

Title: Network Engineer

Duration: 6 month contract with extensions

Pay rate: $50-55/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Design and conduct load and stress tests across the ecosystem Monitor and analyze system performance to help identify areas of improvements Collaborate with teams to optimize system designs and code to help drive performance improvements across the ecosystem Synthesize data from multiple sources to create actionable performance dashboards Build tooling to help enable self-service load testing to internal engineering customers

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years working in Network Operations Cisco-Wireless, routing and switching, Wifi, firewall Automation – scripting – cisco tcl and python (would like to see some examples during interview) Need to be really good at Documentation DNS – we use InfoBlox F5 load balancers Management of NTP

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Any other Cisco certs

Compensation:

$50/hr to $55/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
