Title: Network Engineer
Location: Sacramento, CA, 95837 – Fully On-site
Duration: 6 months with possible extensions.
*Responsibilities: *
- Configure, install, and maintain routers, switches, voice gateways, access points, and microwave radio equipment.
- Support day-to-day network operations, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident response.
- Assist with the implementation of new projects and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and processes.
- Work independently and collaboratively to support network availability and performance.
*Qualifications / Experience:
- Cisco Associate-level experience. Hands-on expertise with Cisco and non-Cisco routers and switches.
- Experience with microwave radios and wireless access points. Knowledge of the OSI model and Cisco's three-layer hierarchical model.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible and adaptable to new tools, technologies, and environments.
- CCNA Certifications are a plus
