Become a Key Player as a Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist, you’ll help drive product-led growth for Adobe Express by translating customer behavior into insights that shape strategy and outcomes. You’ll partner across growth pillars, Finance, Go-To-Market, enablement, and product teams to deliver clear performance readouts and uncover monetization opportunities. This staffing assignment covers a leave of absence for an FTE, with full-time hours.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Lead strategic analytics projects and present findings that drive action for key partners.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to understand in-product engagement, purchase, retention, and conversion patterns; craft data narratives that inform decisions.
  • Own and drive growth metrics related to product engagement and monetization.
  • Unlock customer usage and behavior patterns; build models to analyze causal relationships between usage, retention, and propensity to purchase/convert at macro and micro-transaction levels.
  • Build predictive models and propensity frameworks to identify opportunities for monetization.
  • Develop analysis frameworks that produce high-quality insights and inform strategy.
  • Create strategies and automated solutions that scale data science efficiency.
  • Serve as a business liaison across growth pillars and Finance/Go-To-Market to deliver regular product performance updates through a product-led growth lens.
  • Lead forecasting and target-setting and build growth contribution layers toward Express KPI goals.
  • Partner with enablement and product teams to enable analytics measurement across new and existing features.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to enable self-serve access to information.
  • Generate data-informed hypotheses for in-product growth experiments and support performance readouts.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, physics, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of direct experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Deep understanding of statistics and expertise building, productizing, maintaining, and improving predictive models.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL or Hive for querying, manipulating, validating, and analyzing large datasets.
  • Experience with Python, R, or another scripting language.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Self-starter who asks questions and learns quickly.
  • Strong business insight with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Here’s What Else Might Help You Out

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or Amplitude is a plus.

Pay Range

$84.51 - $105.63/hour
