Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst – QA Consultant with strong expertise in Finastra Fusion Loan IQ to support system implementations, interface development, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Loan IQ functionalities, SDK development, data model, and integration with core banking systems. This role requires hands-on experience in business analysis, functional testing, system support, and end-to-end loan administration processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Loan IQ system implementations and interface development activities.
- Analyze, document, and validate business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Develop and execute test cases, perform defect lifecycle management, and provide status reporting.
- Debug and resolve functional and interface issues within Loan IQ.
- Support system configuration and end-to-end process flows for syndicated and bilateral loan deals.
- Review BRS (Business Requirement Specifications) and prepare functional specifications/test cases.
- Conduct regression testing, SIT/UAT support, and ensure system stability during integration.
- Provide technical assistance for system enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Track and document changes to system specifications, business rules, and workflows.
- Assist in writing user documentation, instructions, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and bank policies.
- Actively participate in performance reviews, system assessments, and project meetings.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, system analysts, and technical teams.
Required Technical Skills
- Loan IQ Expertise:
- Minimum 5 years of Loan IQ application implementation and support.
- Strong knowledge of Loan IQ SDK (inquiry scripts, event management, scripted APIs, scripted batches).
- Expertise in Loan IQ data dictionary (7.7.X version), framework, and functionalities.
- Hands-on experience with Loan IQ modules: Customer setup, Deal/Facility building, Portfolio management, Payments, Fees, Secondary sales, Trade Ticket entry, Collaterals, Swaps, Ticklers, Repayment schedules, etc.
- Good understanding of Loan IQ RFR functionality, MX payments, GL entries, batch/online accounting.
- Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in Core Java/J2EE, XML, REST API.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle DB, PL/SQL, packages, and stored procedures.
- Experience with nightly batches, event triggers, controllers, and inquiry APIs.
- Familiarity with system integration with core banking systems.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Banking IT systems, with at least 3 years in IT system implementations and support.
- Strong background in core banking and loan administration systems.
- Proven experience in business analysis, SIT/UAT testing, and QA practices.
