We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Golang Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge microservices for cloud portability.

As a Senior Golang Developer, you will play a critical role in enabling our project to utilize cloud resources efficiently while enhancing deployment automation. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices
• Develop cloud-portable solutions based on leading-edge technologies to support geological modeling workflows
• Implement robust APIs and integrate Golang microservices with third-party services like messaging systems
• Optimize the performance, resource utilization, and scalability of cloud-hosted microservices
• Automate deployment processes across various cloud environments while maintaining reliability
• Troubleshoot production issues related to microservices and propose resilient solutions
• Follow best practices for code quality, testing, and continuous integration
• Work closely with domain experts to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions

Requirements

• Expertise in Golang microservices development with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and resolve technical challenges
• English proficiency at a B1+ level

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB for database modeling and query performance optimization
• Background in Kubernetes/Istio for service discovery, load balancing, and traffic routing
• Showcase of messaging system integrations, blob technology, and S3-compatible storage solutions
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD and advanced source code management
• Flexibility to use Microsoft Azure for cloud-based architecture
