SDE II / III (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) modules for Android, iOS, Android TV, and Apple TV OTT applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend, to implement new features and improve user experience.
  • Write reusable and testable business logic code shared between platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in multiplatform mobile development, OTT streaming technologies, and TV platform SDKs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
  • Contribute to platform-specific UI/UX adjustments for TV and mobile form factors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) development targeting Android and iOS platforms.
  • Hands-on experience developing OTT applications on Android Mobile, Android TV, iOS Mobile, and Apple TV platforms.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and real-time data integration.
  • Understanding of Mobile and TV app architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles).
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for multiplatform mobile and TV apps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and team collaboration experience in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
  • Knowledge of cloud streaming infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and app store compliance for mobile and TV apps.
  • Passion for video streaming, OTT technology, and delivering excellent user experiences across devices.
