UX/UI Designer

We’re seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer to play a key role in the launch of a new product and platform.
As well as a salary of up to £48,000 depending on experience benefits include:
- Fully remote working in the UK
- Opportunity to shape and deliver a new digital product and platform
- Working within a supportive and mission-driven environment.
- Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Our client provides emergency accommodation and support services to the UK's most vulnerable people - victims of domestic abuse, people fleeing war, chaos and corruption imposed upon them and those seeking asylum. Working with the Product Manager, business SMEs and agile development teams, you’ll take user stories and journeys through to wireframes and high-definition designs.
Responsibilities:
- Test applications, websites and software to assess user experience
- Translate research into effective design elements
- Build storyboards and wireframes to communicate design plans
- Gather and analyse user feedback through surveys and data insights
- Design and refine aesthetics across layouts, menus, fonts and colours
- Enhance navigation and overall usability across digital platforms
- Produce user stories, journeys and workflow wireframes
What we’re looking for:
- Proven UX/UI design experience within agile or scrum teams
- Strong collaboration with technical and business stakeholders
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Adobe XD
- Ability to balance aesthetics with usability
Please note that due to close links to the UK Home Office our client will require all successful candidates to go through DBS / CBT checks. Candidates must be UK citizens, have Settled Status or ILR.
