We are seeking a talented and driven Frontend Developer to join our team in building the financial services of tomorrow. Working for a leading Norwegian financial group, you’ll play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for savings and investment platforms, including web and mobile applications. As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll collaborate with designers, product owners, and other developers in a dynamic, supportive environment that prioritizes teamwork and open dialogue.

Role Highlights

  • Technology Stack: Work with a modern front-end stack including React, TypeScript, CSS/Sass, HTML, Webpack, Babel, and React Native.
  • Architecture: Microservice-based architecture running on the Java platform, with recent development in Kotlin. Monitoring with Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana in OpenShift and Azure environments.
  • Collaboration: Thrive in a supportive team atmosphere, where open dialogue, interaction, and shared success are prioritized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain front-end solutions for a range of applications, including online banking and advisor tools.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and product owners to shape user-friendly, impactful products.
  • Participate in code reviews, continuously optimizing for clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, working part-time from our Warsaw office with occasional travel to Oslo.

Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development.
  • Proficiency with React, TypeScript, CSS/Sass, HTML, and RESTful APIs.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication skills, proactive, and self-driven.
  • Team player who enjoys a collaborative environment and values clean, understandable code.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with React Query, React Native, Redux, Kotlin/Java.
  • Background in the banking or finance industry.
