C# / React Developer - Energy Trading - Geneva

Working for a major energy trader (energy / renewables). We are recruiting mid / senior level Software Developers with a background in C# / .Net (and ideally React).

The Role

As a member of a skilled global team of software engineers, you will play a role in developing exciting new trading and analytics platforms. The customers are varied; traders, analysts, researchers and data scientists.

Essential Skills:

• 3 -5 years of experience working with C# and related .NET technologies
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Experience working in an agile scrum development model
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities
• Excellent English oral and written skills

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in GraphQL or gRPC
• Experience in Reactive Extensions (RX)
• Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry (buy-side or sell-side)
• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science or an equivalent field
