About the Role

To spearhead the creation and seamless integration of advanced AI solutions within Minetek's information services ecosystem, enhancing operational efficiency and innovation to company applications.

The role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining AI agents, tools, reusable patterns, and robust evaluation frameworks to support both pro-code and low-code environments, driving transformative outcomes for Minetek's specialised industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

• Design and enhance scalable infrastructure and reusable AI patterns tailored to Minetek’s engineering and operational workflows.
• Integrate AI capabilities into core products and platforms, ensuring seamless deployment with minimal downtime.
• Lead complex AI solution development, providing technical expertise and guidance to business stakeholders.
• Ensure AI components are interoperable across environments for smooth integration with Minetek’s product range.
• Collaborate with teams to embed AI into productivity tools and platforms.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and project teams to integrate feedback and ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain evaluation frameworks to measure AI performance, safety, and effectiveness in industrial applications.
• Contribute to standards, procedures, and methodologies for AI development and deployment.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and provide technical leadership to drive innovation.
• Liaise with external vendors and software providers to troubleshoot and resolve AI-related issues.

About You

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, with advanced training in AI.
• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
• Track record of delivering AI solutions that integrate with enterprise systems and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong ability to design evaluation frameworks for AI performance and operational impact (e.g., downtime reduction, cost savings).
• Experience leading AI projects, mentoring team members, and solving complex problems.
• Skilled in predictive modelling, time-series analysis, and anomaly detection for industrial applications.
• Proficient in .NET and Python within Microsoft environments.
• Experienced in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large-scale industrial datasets.
