As a Machine Learning Engineer, you can expect to lead end-to-end machine learning solutions, getting involved in the design and deployment of deep learning models that have a real-world impact.

Machine Learning Engineer Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines for sensor, video, and RF data.
• Develop Computer Vision models using architectures like YOLO, ResNet, U-Net, and other detection/classification models.
• Preprocess, annotate, and curate datasets for robust real-world model performance.
• Deploy and monitor ML models on edge and cloud systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and operations teams to integrate ML models into live operational systems.

Machine Learning Engineer Requirements

• Hands-on ML/Deep Learning experience, with a focus on Computer Vision and detection tasks.
• Strong Python skills and experience with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of the ML lifecycle: model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Comfortable working with Linux infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about aerospace, defence, and operational AI systems.
