Job Description
- Coordinate team member lifecycle documentation as required including but not limited to letters of offer, amendment letters, salary review, reference requests, termination forms and other administration.
- Coordinate Team member Experiences as required.
- Provide highly efficient, effective and customer-focused HR and Employee Relations advice and escalate to People Advisors and People Business Partners when required.
- Identify opportunities within the People processes and system, to ensure continuous improvement and provide sound recommendations to the General Manager, People – Vet Services and wider team.
- Work in consultation with the General Manager People, Retail & Support Office, to coordinate Internal Communications, People Policy and Guidelines Library and Company Intranet updates.
- Work in consultation with the General Manager People, Retail & Support Office, other support functions and operational business units to coordinate Inclusion & Belonging activities and annual calendar of events.
- Coordinate and work in collaboration with the People team on Visa Management and advice around Visa requests.
- Develop workforce reports and analyse trends to influence superior decision making for the people team and stakeholders.
- Work in consultation with the General Manager People, Retail & Support Office, other support functions and operational business units to progress wider projects and initiatives.
- Keep up to date with changes in the relevant award/s and industrial relations laws and make suggestions for any communications or policy updates that may be required.
- Preparation of reports as required
- Conduct online exit survey analysis and follow up with any necessary action. Conduct Exit Interviews as and when required for key talent or regrettable losses.
- Perform other ‘ad-hoc’ duties / accountabilities as directed by the General Manager, People Retail & Support or Chief People and Capabilities Officer as and when required.
- Broad HR skills to provide a high-quality HR Business Partnering service, including performance management and HR administration.
- A demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) at an intermediary level.
- A demonstrated proficiency with HR Systems would be an advantage especially Success Factors Employee Central, Smart Recruiters and Flare
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound influencing, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Proven problem solving and decision-making capability.
- Strong customer focus.
- Formal qualifications (diploma or higher) in Human Resources or a related discipline would be an advantage.
- HR generalist experience and sound Award advice and interpretation skills would be an advantage.
- Experience in managing employee relations matters, including complaints, grievances and disciplinary issues would be an advantage.
