Disaster Relief Australia (DRA) unites the skills and experiences of military veterans and civilians to rapidly deploy disaster relief and recovery teams in Australia and internationally. We are seeking a Training Operations Coordinator to play a pivotal role in planning and coordinating the training that prepares our people to serve communities when it matters most. This is a permanent, fully remote role, offering flexibility and purpose - perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and keeping complex projects on track in a fast-changing environment.
Description:
What You’ll Do
- Provide national coordination and support for the delivery of Disaster Relief Australia’s annual training program.
- Engage with staff and volunteers of Disaster Relief and Recovery teams around Australia to coordinate training courses.
- Liaise with training providers under Partnership Agreements to support course delivery.
- Provide administrative support in the form of Training Course Applications, applicant vetting and record keeping
- Communicate effectively with volunteers about training course participation.
- Manage multiple moving parts while ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
We value mindset and capability over exact experience. If you’ve worked in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), First Responders role, non-for-profit, or in any role requiring stakeholder management, juggling priorities, and working to tight deadlines - we want to hear from you.
You’ll bring:
- Ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships with professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex, unstructured, and ever-changing environments.
- Proven ability to prioritise, manage projects, and deliver on time.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with databases (ideally SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Teams) or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Detail-oriented and confident in coordinating the requirements of a busy role, spreadsheets, and shared systems
- Salary up to $85,000 p.a. + salary packaging benefits.
- Two additional weeks of volunteer leave to support deployment opportunities.
- Remote first - work from anywhere in Australia.
- Be part of a high-purpose, values-driven organisation built on Courage, Service, Tenacity, and Respect.
- Permanent employment with genuine opportunities to make an impact.
