Role: DevOps Lead Engineer
Location: Remote
Type: Contract (B2B)
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role with a focus on automation and infrastructure management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading teams and driving technical initiatives.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
- Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with incident management and troubleshooting production environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
- Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL) and storage systems.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
