About The Role
We are seeking a deeply technical and execution-focused Technical Product Manager to be a critical driver for our AI platform, AI & AI agent capabilities. This is a hands-on role for a product leader with a genuine passion for AI and an obsession with user delight. You will partner closely with JM Mommessin, our Head of AI, as well as with engineering teams, and other PMs to translate our AI strategy into a tangible roadmap and bring it to life.
This role is a unique blend, with your time split evenly between building robust, scalable AI infrastructure (50%) and enhancing the intelligence and conversational experience of our AI, AI agents using technologies like LLM, RAG & Agent frameworks (50%). You will be the linchpin that connects cutting-edge AI technology to the seamless and magical user experience our customers deserve.

Responsibilities
- Drive the AI Product Roadmap: In partnership with AI leadership, translate the high-level strategy into a detailed, actionable product roadmap. Prioritize features, infrastructure upgrades, and research spikes to achieve our business objectives.
- AI Agent Intelligence & User Experience: Lead the product development for our conversational AI agent. Define requirements to improve natural language understanding and response quality, leveraging technologies like RAG to deliver accurate and context-aware interactions that delight users.
- AI Infrastructure & Platform Enablement: Guide the development of our foundational AI infrastructure. Work with engineers to define requirements for data pipelines, MLOps tooling, model deployment systems, and scalable APIs that enable rapid experimentation and production-grade reliability.
- Technical Specification & Execution: Author detailed product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications. Own the product backlog, and work hand-in-glove with the engineering team through sprints to ensure features are built to spec and delivered on time.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Own and analyze key performance metrics for both the AI agent (e.g., user satisfaction, task success rate) and the underlying platform (e.g., latency, cost, uptime) to guide product improvements..and Business KPIs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key product interface between our engineers, data scientists, QA, backend engineers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- 4+ years of experience in technical product management, with a clear focus on AI/ML products, platforms, or data-intensive systems. Direct work experience with AI is not required.
- A demonstrable passion for both the potential of AI and the pursuit of an exceptional user experience is a must.
- Deep technical understanding of the modern AI stack, including data pipelines, MLOps, and the application of LLMs (e.g., fine-tuning, RAG).
- Proven experience shipping complex, scalable, and reliable backend systems or APIs.
- Ability to have technical conversations with engineers about system architecture, model performance, and infrastructure trade-offs.
- Exceptional analytical skills; you are comfortable analyzing product engagement data, AI model performance metrics, and system performance data to drive decisions.
- Passion for fintech and building technology that empowers underserved communities.
- An advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field is a plus but not required. An MBA is desirable.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
