Senior UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a “Senior UI/UX Designer” to join our product teams as a member of our Experience Design Center of Excellence, to design beautiful, elegant experiences, influencing the full product lifecycle from a user perspective.

What makes you a good fit:

• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing visual language systems for digital products.
• Strong experience with mobile and responsive web design.
• Experience in online banking or fintech ecosystem.
• Experience of involvement in all stages of the design process including initial workshops, research, creation of design concepts, developing interactive prototypes, devising and conducting experiments, and delivering applications.
• Proficiency in UX Design is a plus
• A robust portfolio showcasing a solid understanding of UI principles and Design System building.
• Proficiency in Design tools (e.g. Adobe Family, Figma) and Prototyping tools.
• Proficiency in 2D Animation production.
• Familiar with mobile UI Technologies and iOS/Android guidelines.
• Proficiency in UI usability principles
• Understanding user problems, coming up with reasonable solutions and designing thoughtful user experiences that are functional, usable and aesthetic.
• A passion to learn and keep up with the cutting edge technologies.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary UX/UI design, business design or product teams on technical implementation in a product lifecycle.
• Thinking through a workflow and making major, sometimes daring design decisions to reinvent it.
• Talent and passion for design research, creating exciting and engaging user experiences.
• Highly organized self-starter mindset to own projects and act with limited supervision.
• Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in an agile environment.
• Maker/builder mentality.
• Strong communication, persuasion and team working skills.
• Being obsessively detail oriented, good at analytical thinking, result-oriented, team-oriented, open-minded, open to feedback.
• Clear and positive communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Being familiar with HTML & CSS & JS and modern browser capabilities is a plus.
• Please share your online portfolio featuring UX/UI works. The candidates who do not share portfolio will not be considered.

What you’ll experience working at Softtech:

• Work as part of both a product team and the Experience Design Center of Excellence.
• Also work closely with product owners, analysts, project managers etc. for product and service development.
• Design user experience and interface designs of tomorrow for multiple products and services.
• Demonstrate effective time-management in delivering design concepts and revisions according to schedule.
