UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a talented consultant to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating concepts from design teams into intuitive, high-quality user flows, crafting screens that are both user-friendly and visually appealing. Your focus will be on balancing usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction to effectively connect user intent with business objectives, ultimately delivering innovative user experiences.

Responsibilities And Key Tasks

You will take ownership of all flow paths and screen states that lead to a quality, goal-oriented outcome from a UX/UI perspective. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Gathering input from stakeholders on user needs and technical feasibility
• Drawing inspiration from industry-leading examples inside and outside the financial sector
• Ensuring an intuitive information hierarchy at the screen level
• Designing high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
• Conducting follow-ups on user feedback obtained from usability tests
• Collaborating with a dedicated UX copywriter to seamlessly integrate content into your designs
• Actively contributing to the design system while exhibiting a mobile-first approach
• Engaging with the UX/UI community for knowledge sharing, co-creation of standards, guidelines, and best practices
  
  
  

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will showcase a strong professional skill set, complemented by:

• A mobile-first mindset and familiarity with mobile native design principles, including Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines
• Agile knowledge and comfort with the Scrum development cycle
• An understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG guidelines
• Proficiency with common design tools such as Figma and Zeplin
• Experience working with design systems, including the ability to create and enhance components
• Awareness of the technical implications of your designs, with some front-end development knowledge being a plus
• Strong documentation skills, enabling clear briefs for researchers and developers
• Fluency in French or Dutch at a C1 level (written and spoken) with a good command of English (B1/B2 level)
