In response to our fast growth and expansion, we are looking for a Product Security Engineer to join our central security team.

As a Product Security Engineer your mission will be to build incident response readiness into our SaaS platforms and engineering teams, focusing on prevention, preparation, and rapid recovery rather than investigation. You’ll be joining a 10-person Information Security team (split between compliance and product security) supporting several dozen engineering teams in a cloud-native B2B SaaS environment.

Our engineering teams primarily work with Java and .NET applications running on Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms, deployed across Azure and private cloud infrastructure. Adoption of central log and monitoring systems is widespread, and we already have foundational security detection and response capability in place, including Microsoft Sentinel and Wiz.

This role involves scaling security capabilities across a mature DevOps organization where teams are ready to adopt better tooling and practices, rather than starting from scratch. You’ll work as a capability-aligned specialist, building reusable security solutions and frameworks that benefit multiple product teams.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement security observability and logging for product environments
• Build automated incident response tools and workflows for engineering teams
• Create the plumbing to enable efficient and effective decentralized security operations
• Build monitoring and alerting that enables fast detection and response by product teams
• Conduct tabletop exercises and security incident simulations to validate response procedures
• Perform red-team and purple-team exercises to test detection capabilities and surface gaps in logging and monitoring

• Strong software engineering and automation skills
• Experience with observability concepts, logging, and monitoring systems
• Understanding of incident response principles and operational readiness
• Ability to design resilient systems that fail safely and recover gracefully
• Excellent collaboration skills for embedding security practices into product teams
• Systems thinking approach to building scalable operational capabilities
  
  

As a bonus, we see added value in hands-on experience with observability platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Datadog, Wiz), prior security operations or incident response team experience, a background in SRE, platform engineering, or security engineering, and experience with red team or purple team exercises
