The Role
Our client is seeking an ambitious and skilled communications professional to join their growing Dublin team. This is a hybrid role: office-based on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Wednesday and Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-impact global PR campaigns.
- Manage daily client communications across emerging technology sectors.
- Provide outstanding client service, supporting retention and growth.
- Draft, edit, and review press materials.
- Handle proactive and reactive media relations.
- Issue press releases and pitch to international media.
- Oversee multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Build and maintain strong media relationships to secure impactful coverage.
- Lead crisis communications and issues management.
- Run workshops, media training, and client update meetings.
- Manage and mentor a small, high-performing team, allocating resources and guiding professional growth.
- Proactively identify opportunities to advance client brands and business goals.
- Contribute fresh ideas and a positive, entrepreneurial mindset to ongoing growth.
Skills & Requirements
- At least 4 years’ recent PR agency experience with a focus on media relations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of finance, blockchain, or advanced technologies desirable but not essential.
- Proven strategic thinking and opportunity identification.
- Excellent understanding of the media landscape.
- Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated crisis communications experience.
- Successful leadership and mentoring track record.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Highly motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to the highest professional and organisational standards.
