We are looking for an Cloud Engineer!

Responsabilities:

• Cloud Environment Management and Administration: Provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security in Microsoft Azure and VMware VCF environments.
• Solution Development and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Infrastructure Automation: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate cloud infrastructure and services through deployment via pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Optimization and Monitoring: Monitor resource usage and performance, making adjustments as needed to optimize costs, performance, and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to implement best practices for cloud architecture and operations.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in cloud engineering, including the design and management of cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware Aria (Operations and Automation), and Tanzu.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and interpret monitoring data and correlate it with business data.
• Ability to work proactively and independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
