We’re a profitable, bootstrapped company started in 2013 and growing sustainably every year. Now we’re looking for a Native App Developer to help us expand what our platform can do.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Native App Developer to join our small team and play a key role in developing new features for our mobile platform. You’ll be working alongside our lead developer and head of Product, focusing on building, improving, and shipping native functionality for apps used by global retail brands.

This role is full-time, fully remote, and offers a lot of freedom in how you work. You’ll need to be responsible, independent, and comfortable taking ownership of your work.

Responsibilities:

• Build and ship new native features across iOS and Android
• Enhance native UI components and navigation elements to improve user experience
• Optimize WebView implementations across platforms for performance and stability
• Collaborate with product and design to turn ideas into working features
• Ensure consistent performance and quality across both platforms

Ideal Candidate:

• Solid experience in both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development
• Understanding of hybrid app architecture and WebView integrations
• Strong eye for UX and performance optimization
• Track record of shipping and maintaining production apps
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with e-commerce or retail apps is a plus

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin
• Familiarity with native UI development on both iOS and Android
• Understanding of WebView capabilities and limitations
• Experience with push notifications and deep linking
• Familiarity with Git and modern workflows
• Ability to test and debug on real devices
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) is a strong plus

Contract Terms:

• Full-time contract position (40 hours/week)
• Remote work arrangement with minimal required overlap with EST
• Hourly rate: $25/hr (approx. $4,000/month)
