The Global Measurement team is expanding its Data function and seeking a Global Junior Data Scientist to support data-driven decision-making and business process optimization across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a team of highly motivated data professionals and contribute to the development of cutting-edge measurement products.
As a Global Junior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in supporting the Global Product Manager in building and enhancing measurement solutions such as Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), Attribution, Experiments, and Full Funnel Measurement. Your strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark, combined with your analytical mindset and understanding of online media, will be central to your success in this position.
The Global Data Scientist will collaborate closely with the Data team to design and implement innovative digital solutions. This work is especially critical in light of the ongoing transformation in the advertising landscape, as the industry rapidly shifts toward mobile and online platforms.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop scripts to leverage our Behavioural Science needs together with the Data team
- Develop data pipelines from various sources
- Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
- Ability to apply math and statistics appropriately
- Actively work with the Data Engineer to define and integrate various data sources and implement products
- Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics and/or other technical knowledge
- Experience in measurement analytics is a plus
- Fluent English (written & spoken)
- 1-2 years of working experience (at least 1 consistent year) in digital marketing research at a research agency like Kantar/Nielsen, or research experience at a media agency, media owner or publisher
- Experience with common data science toolkits: BigQuery, SQL, R, Python or PySpark
- Should ideally have knowledge of BI software: PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio
