About This Opportunity
Do you have a passion for finance, forecasting, and driving smart investment decisions? We’re looking for an experienced, creative, and dynamic Radio Investment Controller to join our outstanding team within the TE1 domain in the IV&C department at PDU Radio.
In this pivotal role, you will own the forecasting process for hardware and software investments, manage Capex/Opex budgets, and provide clear, data-driven insights to support decision-making. You will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring resources are directed where they bring the most value. You won’t shy away from challenging assumptions – your critical thinking and ability to say 'no' when necessary will help guide sound financial outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Lead financial forecasting and budgeting for Radio testing and development projects.
- Partner with stakeholders to review, challenge, and refine investment proposals.
- Evaluate and qualify hardware prototypes, driving innovation and quality.
- Prepare and deliver concept reviews for strategic decisions.
- Research new tools and methods to meet future requirements.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and compliance.
- Coach R&D colleagues and act as a competence builder through workshops and presentations.
- Support cross-organizational projects and drive collaborative success.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in finance, engineering, or related field.
- Strong financial and forecasting skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
- General understanding of RF and Filter Technology, plus design experience in RF.
- Knowledge of Radio Products and technologies including WCDMA, GSM, 4G, and 5G.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the confidence to challenge stakeholders.
- Clear and compelling communication abilities in English.
- A calm, diplomatic, and professional demeanor.
- Prior experience within similar industry is a strong advantage.
