I am currently looking for an IT Project Manager (m/f/d) for a project in Sweden for a renowned customer of ours.

Start: asap

Workload: full-time

Duration: 12 months

Location: remote from Sweden

with about 6 times per year on site in Stockholm or Västerås

Language: English and Swedish


Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Scheduling: Aligning projects with Business Strategy. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and milestones. Ensure each site or phase is planned and executed efficiently.

Execution and Coordination:

• Oversee and coordinate the execution of specific network refresh activities, such as hardware

upgrades, reconfiguration, ensuring work is performed according to the plan.

• Incorporate industry best practices, conduct internal and external benchmarking, and establish

standards, key measures, and metrics.

• Coordinate between the business and technical teams to act as a liaison and translator for both

parties. Ensure quality control by overseeing project deliverables and ensuring compliance with

established standards.

• Make critical decisions throughout the project lifecycle by evaluating options, weighing risks and

benefits, and considering input from team members and stakeholders.

• Acting as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring

communication with team members and stakeholders (while meeting business needs).

• Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, architects, technical SMEs) to deliver the project on time and within budget. Ensure collaboration between team members and resolve conflicts. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team

• Budget and Financial Tracking: Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget constraints. Report any variances to the Program Manager.

• Risk and Issue Management: Identify project-level risks and issues, escalate where necessary, and

implement mitigation strategies, create risk management plans, and coordinate the resolution of issues.

• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain project status reports, track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to the Program Manager and other stakeholders.

• Change Management: Coordinate activities with onsite team and the Change Management team to ensure minimal disruption to business operations when switching to the new network infrastructure.

• Vendor Coordination: Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Work closely with supplier teams on scheduling, deliverables, and site-specific requirements.



Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in an IT Project Management role
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master).
  • Network Infrastructure background
  • ServiceNow -nice to have
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and their application in improving customer service and productivity.
  • Strong knowledge of demand management, portfolio management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to drive success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
