Job Description
We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our team and help us develop and optimize applications. The candidate should have solid knowledge in PHP 8, Laravel (Symfony), Doctrine ORM, PHPUnit and should be able to work effectively with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). As part of our technological development, we plan to migrate part of the back-end to Node.js (Nest.js) in the future. We are therefore looking for a candidate who is interested in expanding their skills in this direction and participating in the modernization of our tech stack.
Location:
Prague, Czech Republic - on-site (first 1 month), then hybrid.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Development and Maintenance: Development and maintenance of quality code for our applications (SOLID, DRY, ...)
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features
- Application Optimization: Application optimization for maximum speed and scalability
- Testing: Implementing tests using PHPUnit and functional tests to ensure code quality and robustness
- Database management: Effective work with databases, design and optimization of database queries
- API Design: Design and implementation of REST APIs for our applications
- Professional experience: 3+ years of experience with PHP development
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge in PHP 8, Laravel (Symfony), Doctrine ORM
- Experience with testing tools such as PHPUnit and writing functional tests
- Experience with GIT: Fluent work with the GIT version control system, including knowledge of branching, merging and code review processes
- AGILE: At least basic knowledge of AGILE development (SCRUM)
- Teamwork: We are looking for someone who enjoys communicating, participating in joint activities, and contributing to a friendly team atmosphere
- Additional skills: Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
- Language skills: Czech - native speaker, ability to read technical documentation in English
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools - an advantage
- Experience with DDD and Clean Arch. - an advantage
- Experience with frontend development and React - an advantage
- Experience with Node.js (Nest.js) and Typescript - an advantage
