What You Will Do

• Work with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, AWS Services, and CI/CD
• Build and maintain backend services with Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Contribute to the migration from a monolithic to a microservice architecture
• Design and implement APIs for smooth service communication
• Develop new products and features in close collaboration with colleagues
• Write tests at different levels to ensure high-quality code
• Monitor metrics to track software performance
• Work closely with product managers to deliver customer and partner value
• Prioritise tasks within the team effectively
• Bring creativity and fresh ideas to improve workflows and processes
• Experiment, test, learn, and iterate continuously
• Work in a hybrid setup with at least 2 office days per week

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong knowledge of Java (or similar languages)
• Familiarity with Spring Boot is a plus
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code
• Strong code review practices and openness to constructive discussions
• A curious, proactive approach to engineering and problem-solving
• Ability to contribute to a positive team culture
• Open-minded, collaborative, and effective in sharing knowledge and ideas
