Organization: A Ship Management and Offshore Vessels Operating Organization providing reliable integrated marine services to offshore Oil & Gas facilities

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Tech Lead to oversee the full lifecycle of software development projects—from concept to deployment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on leadership, and a proven track record in building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, driving innovation, and mentoring developers to achieve excellence.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-level applications.
    • Oversee the adoption of .NET Core (.NET 8 preferred) and microservices-based architectures.
    • Manage full lifecycle DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployments on Azure.
    • Design and integrate RESTful APIs and real-time communication systems (RabbitMQ, SignalR, Redis).
    • Implement robust security solutions using OAuth 2.0, OpenIddict, and JWT to ensure compliance with industry standards.
    • Optimize database performance and manage SQL Server & PostgreSQL environments.
    • Provide hands-on mentoring, code reviews, and technical guidance to the development team.
    • Collaborate with QA, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality software.
    • Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities.


    Required Experience

    • 7+ years of software development experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
    • Proven expertise in architecting and developing enterprise applications with .NET Core/.NET 8.
    • Strong background in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
    • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes.
    • Proficiency in database design, optimization, and management (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
    • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
    • Experience in Agile environments, using project management and collaboration tools effectively.
    • Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring high-performing teams.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business, product, and QA teams for smooth execution.
    • Innovation: Continuously explore and advocate for modern technologies to improve processes and performance.
