🚀 Hiring: Senior Android Hardware Engineer
On behalf of our client, a leading tech innovator, we’re seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team working on advanced, secure Android-based devices.
What You’ll Do
- Lead research, design, and integration of hardware & software components (chipsets, antennas, RF modules, sensors).
- Develop and customize Android OS kernels, device drivers, and firmware for security and performance.
- Reverse engineer Android apps, OS components, and hardware to identify vulnerabilities and build secure solutions.
- Architect and implement advanced security frameworks (encryption, secure boot, anti-tampering).
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver prototypes and production devices.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8+ years’ experience in Android hardware & software development (custom secure mobile devices).
- Expert knowledge of Android OS architecture, kernel development, and hardware integration.
- Strong background in reverse engineering (apps, OS, hardware) and vulnerability analysis.
- Proficiency in mobile app development (Java/Kotlin, C/C++) and hardware API integration.
- Solid understanding of IP networking, RF technologies (LTE/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC), and cybersecurity frameworks.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (PhD a plus).
- Thrives under pressure in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
- Strong team player with flexibility and adaptability.
- Excellent communicator, mentor, and collaborator across technical and non-technical teams.
