Brand Partnerships Project Manager - The Role
This role supports the Brand Partnerships Director in the execution and delivery of high-impact brand partnerships. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations across a portfolio of partnerships; ensuring contractual obligations are met, activations are delivered on time and within budget, performance is tracked, and partners receive exceptional service throughout.
Key Accountabilities
Manage the end-to-end execution and delivery of brand partnership projects, ensuring alignment across internal teams and external partners, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.
- Project Management
- Lead or support the project management of selected global brand partnerships across HH categories, including The Ocean Race, professional sailing teams, the America's Cup, national alpine ski teams, search and rescue organizations, and others.
- Ensure timely progression and on-budget delivery of brand partnership projects, from planning through execution.
- Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery:
- HH central and regional marketing teams – for campaign alignment and content needs
- Sales & Retail teams – to ensure partnership integration across consumer touchpoints
- Other departments including Logistics, Finance, Product, and Legal – to manage timelines, approvals, and operational requirements
- External partners, agencies, and suppliers – to align on deliverables, timelines, etc.
- Keep internal engagement high by regularly updating teams on the progress of brand partnerships, ensuring content and campaigns are planned, created, and published on time.
- Coordinate the HH global and local teams, supporting the Brand Partnerships Director to ensure all contractual rights and obligations are successfully implemented.
- Collaborate with internal teams to activate brand partnerships; including co-branded campaigns, events, and promotions, that align with company goals and enhance brand visibility.
- Support the planning and execution of joint events, activations, and experiences in collaboration with brand partners.
- Assist with creative development, content production, and campaign rollout to ensure partner initiatives are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Explore activation opportunities beyond current status quo.
- Budget Management
- Support the Brand Partnerships Director in ensuring cost-effective execution of brand partnerships.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners/vendors to ensure spending is controlled and aligned with agreed budgets.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track and monitor brand partnership KPIs, reporting findings to the Brand Partnerships Director.
- Coordinate the collection of data and results from internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate performance measurement.
- Support the creation and delivery of post-campaign reports summarizing outcomes, insights, and recommendations for future activations.
- Assist the Brand Partnerships Director with regular performance updates to internal stakeholders and partners.
- Strategic Support
- Support the Brand Partnerships Director in researching and evaluating potential partnership opportunities within key categories such as Skiing, Sailing and Outdoor.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and the evolving partnership landscape.
- Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners in the day-to-day execution of partnership activities, ensuring smooth communication and delivery of agreed projects.
- Manage partner expectations related to timelines, deliverables, and approvals in close coordination with the Brand Partnership Director.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years managing international projects with multiple stakeholders. Experience in event execution, on-site activations, or pop-up retail.
- Background: Proven experience in sports marketing or partnership management, ideally in the rights-holder/asset or brand/sponsor side.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of and/or passion for Sailing, Skiing, Outdoor sports communities (active participation is a plus).
- Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing tools, project management, and resource alignment to meet goals.
- Proactive Approach: Ability to independently manage complex projects and drive results.
- Multitasking: Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the brand effectively in a professional setting.
- Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), with familiarity in project management tools (e.g., Asana, etc.).
- Global Experience: Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required. Additional European languages are a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%, primarily within Europe, depending on project needs and seasonality.
